How students apply motivation in English listening class

Students’ motivation has been one of the most important thing that has a big impact to students’ learning process. This study investigates how students apply motivation in English listening classes, an area that has received less attention than studies examining the influence of motivation on language learning outcomes. Although previous research has highlighted the importance of motivation in developing English proficiency, limited studies have explored how students actively apply motivational strategies during listening activities. Therefore, this study aims to identify the ways students maintain and apply their motivation while participating in English listening classes and to examine how these motivational practices support their listening learning process.
